FEDSCOUT collects no personal data on our servers because we have no backend servers. The tool runs entirely in your browser.
Information you enter — including your SAM.gov API key, AI provider API key, NAICS codes, business profile, and pipeline data — is stored only in your browser's localStorage. It never leaves your device except when you initiate a search directly to SAM.gov or your chosen AI provider.
When you use FEDSCOUT, your browser communicates directly with:
SAM.gov — to retrieve federal contract opportunities using your API key. SAM.gov is operated by the U.S. General Services Administration and has its own privacy policy.
Your chosen AI provider (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Groq, or Ollama) — when you request AI analysis. Your AI key and query go directly from your browser to that provider. FEDSCOUT does not see or intercept this data.
If you submit the beta access request form, your name, email, company, and answers are sent to stevenh89436@gmail.com via your email client. This information is used only to manage beta access and is never shared or sold.
FEDSCOUT does not use cookies. We use browser localStorage for session persistence only.
Since we hold no server-side data about you, there is nothing to delete or export from our end. You can clear your FEDSCOUT data at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage for this site.
